Our Technology

The technology consists of an advanced Solid Polymer Electrolysis (SPE) and Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM). The SPE is a platinum-coated titanium plate, situated on the cathode and anode ends. The PEM is positioned in between the SPE plates creating an ion membrane. This structure allows EcoHydro Bottles to create the most pure diatomic molecular hydrogen to infuse in your water.

The EcoHydro Bottle produces hydrogen-rich water in the ion membrane.

The source of these hydrogen ions come from the water at the anode-end. The PEM allows the migration of hydrogen ions from anolyte to cathode. In the cathode, hydrogen ions combine with the electrons produced by the power supply. This reaction forms H atoms to create H2 gas.

At the anode-end, any remaining oxygen gas is released with the lid is removed, leaving you with hydrogen-rich water.
